Mission Reset

Recovering the Heart of Jesus

At St. Paul Lutheran Church

with the recent vote on the new constitution and subsequent organizational structure, It's a good time to reset our mission at St. Paul.  We will honestly and openly share strengths and weaknesses as we identify our best assets for carrying out the mission of Jesus in the future.  Paul Krentz, Mission and Ministry Facilitator for the Texas District LCMS will lead us.

Saturday – April 10

9:00 am – 2:00 pm

"A Church Health Checkup"

At this first of two Saturday workshops we will take a good look inside of our ministry and hold it up to the plumb line of God's Word.  On April 10 we will:

§    Look closely at the Mission of Jesus as taught in the Scriptures

§    Hear a state of the church address from Pastor Tieken

§   Do a detailed S.W.O.T. analysis of our current mission and ministry efforts (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats)

§    Be introduced to new structures for getting God's work done as stated in our new constitution

§    Gain a missional anticipation for what God is going to do next through us

Please prayerfully consider attending Mission Reset. There is a sign up sheet in the Narthex or just call the church office to sign up or get more information.
