Curriculum
NewsletterDuring the school year, Janice Taylor, the Director, provides a monthly newsletter. Along with the newsletter are lesson plans that each teacher will do that month so that the parents will know in advance what their child will be learning each day. ActivitiesSeasonal activities for the 2's, 3's, 4's and 5's include field trips to the park, Pumpkin Patch in Aubrey, and an Easter Egg Hunt. |
BackgroundSt. Paul Christian Learning Center was established in 1977 to provide preschool programs to stimulate physical, intellectual, emotional, social and spiritual growth of children. The Learning Center operates as a non profit corporation adjunct to St. Paul Lutheran Church, which governs through a Board of Directors consisting of five members elected from the congregation. ChapelThe Children enjoy Chapel with Pastor Russ Tieken or Director of Christian Education Ron DuPree every Thursday morning. Child Ratio & TransportationOur child to teacher ratio ensures individualized attention. The child to staff ratio does not exceed twelve to one and whenever possible will be ten to one or less. Transportation is provided for field trips. MealsThe daily menu includes breakfast, morning snack, lunch and afternoon snack. The weekly menu is posted on the bulletin board in the hall. The meals are included in Tuition costs. |
